I constantly get opinions on things... "News" about things... And other posts reflecting on alleged events or prospects of the world... Most all of it is absolute bullshit. I removed Reddit, TikTok and Twitter from my phone (so I'd use them less) because I got really really tired of seeing people say things, report things etc. that are either (1) Completely fake (2) Presented as if it changes anything when in reality it changes nothing (3) Extremely old news (4) Out of context (5) Straight up propaganda Social media, to include Twitter, Reddit, TikTok & many more --- is so saturated with fake fucking bullshit, or mindless cackling of turkey's that it almost feels like by looking at it you literally become less intelligent - as stupidity can become contageous. So --- this is just a warning --- if you use social media --- PLEASE verify the things you read before you believe them. My source of news? While NOT PERFECT and LOADED with bullshit, is still better than all the social media above combined: https://news.google.com (semi decent if you want more relevant info) I also find that MANY people report when they stop using social media --- they find themselves suffering fewer episodes associated with mental illness.

Walking my dog, which I have to do each day, but I make an effort to do a different route each day, even though I know my dog doesn't really give a shit, I like to think he appreciates the variety lol. I like hanging out with friends, going to events, live comedy, concerts, sports games. I always have a TV show and a book on the go. And I've started listening to these spicy audiobooks on an app called Quinn, which is something a bit different that I'm enjoying!!

Also remember, people are more complicated than one or two mistakes --- that being said, some people don't stop making mistakes, and at some point, it comes off as not mistakes at all - just shitty people being shitty - so maybe you're right.

Ownership is super critical. A close friend or whatever can do something really shitty - but if they say "That was really shitty, I'm sorry" --- I often forgive so long as it's reasonable and they show genuine remorse. It's the folks that pretend it never happened, or that there is nothing wrong --- that really scare me.

My grandmother was a Christian. There was an immense strength in that. I'm sure it got her through a lot of hardships But being around her was difficult. Because she didn't just have her own reality -- she imposed it on everyone else. I don't have a problem with anyone thinking things that seem obviously irrational until they start policing anyone else based on those beliefs. Also admittedly it seemed contradictory and silly to me -- she believed in God but not Satan. Christian life hack: you can't go to hell if you ignore the parts of the bible you don't like? 😭

I am thankful for: My mum, for going to get help. And again, for being alive. My dog, for being the best like always. My mind, for giving me a dream like respite when I needed it most. Silver linings. The spontaneous ten minutes of happiness I encountered for no reason earlier. Awwww what a baby! I didn't expect my cat related outrage to work, thank you 😇
