I used to listen to full on music as I slept, I quite liked trying to remember what was the last song I heard before I fell asleep - spoiler, it's very hard to remember 🤣
Thing is my music taste is pretty heavy, so I would opt for like MCR or Linkin Park, so could be a mixed bag lol.
Now, my partner likes to have Twitch or something on YouTube playing, so I'm quite used to just sound in the background as I sleep.

Red Dead Redemption 2, a masterpiece.
and The Last of Us is what got me back into gaming after a decade of playing nothing.

Batch cooking healthy meals was the key for me! Also keeping a list until I got some momentum going helped.

The Edinburgh festival! I've got tickets booked for a play adaptation of a Terry Pratchett book, I'll see one of my friends who only comes here to perform once a year. I usually go to a couple of the free shows and meet a bunch of interesting people. It's a good time!

I'm actually very into my comedy, have been to a tonne of shows! Some of my favourites are Jim Jeffries, Shane Gillis, Kevin Hart, Jimmy Carr, Ricky Gervais

On December 20, 2024 I quit smoking after 20 years. I honestly never thought it was something I was gonna be able to do, genuinely thought it would be a habit until my dying day. I started feeling the effects of it in my breathing and energy levels, and one day after work just said “nah, I’m not buying another pack”, and I haven’t. 202 days without a puff of a cigarette or vape.

If I can do it, literally anyone can.

Oh goodness, this is gonna be a list.
In the last year I saw Papa Roach, Rise Against and Underoath at one show, The Kooks and Lovelytheband, Carter Vail, and Heart. I saw Cage the Elephant and Young the Giant last summer.
Papa Roach and Rise Against I've seen multiple times because my entire family will go if they come through the PNW, and they do frequently. I've seen AFI and Coheed & Cambria a couple times each, seen Death Cab for Cutie three times - one of my favorite shows was seeing them with Odesza in Bellingham, WA in 2019. Both bands are from Bellingham and it was the first time Death Cab had been able to play in town in a decade because they didn't have a big enough venue. It was the kind of event where the entire town is involved. XD Death Cab was also the first band I saw after Covid.

Uhhh anyone who played the Uproar Festival in the 2010s, because that was the only festival that played near me at the time and meant I saw Godsmack and Staind at least 4 times.

I know I'm missing some, and probably most of the opening acts. Also not including some of the local live music I've been to because frankly I'd blank on their names if I ever caught it to begin with XD

Today I woke up, took doggie on a walk, cleaned my place, went to an AA meeting cause I’m a crazy alcoholic in recovery, went to my mamas house to see her and my cute cat, worked out, and am about to go play volleyball with some friends and then will end they day with another walk for doggy ☺️

My kitty Ryuka who lives with my mommy and my doggo Ollie who I have fulllll custody of 🤩🤩 it was just Ollie’s 6th birthday on Saturday!

As I get older, I remember all the people I lost along the way. Maybe my budding career as a tour guide was not the right choice.

Lucky! Yes, concert tickets are getting to be astronomical. I would have tried harder to see them when they were together if I'd known, but hindsight is 20/20 and concerts involved a lot more effort and travel for me then. I'm so glad you got the opportunity!
Also I really can't complain, I've been able to see some of my favorite bands multiple times over in some cases, and am well aware how much of a privilege that is.

I saw MCR in the late 2000s for maybe £30. Black Parade era. I could never afford it now!
