K.C. got a reaction from Onision in I Can Be A Real A**holeYep. From what I’ve been told, I have Borderline Asperger’s and I’ve always had a difficult time socializing and making friends. I feel like through my adult years, I’ve gotten more socially awkward.

K.C. got a reaction from LadyHallows in Pet Complaint Forum (Leave a Complaint About Your Pet)My cat never uses his scratching post, but he’ll sharpen his claws on the couch. It’s an old couch though that I don’t want anymore so it’s whatever, but I’m like really? You have a perfectly good scratching post right there lol

K.C. reacted to Sheila89 in Best pizza place in your city?Muzzilies pizzaria was ran by Italians.. their pizza was the best. There's(I don't know if it's still open) A place called Bonos..it was owned by the mother of Sonny Bono (Chers ex husband and former mayor of Palm Springs)

K.C. reacted to Onision in I Can Be A Real A**holeSeems like a backhanded compliment in a way... lol. "I'm too logical" (paraphrased quote) What is something you do that is actually bad? Like... not so much something that can be perceived as a good thing as what you described.
A lot of sadness in life can come from not living and being your true self - but at the same time, so can a lot of chaos from being your true self, depending on the person.

K.C. got a reaction from ParadiseLost in I Can Be A Real A**holeI can have a temper. It was worse when I was a teenager so I’ve gotten much better in my later adult years, but it still comes out sometimes lol. I hide my emotions really well though so people rarely see any of the “bad” personality traits and I keep thoughts to myself. That’s probably not a good thing in itself. I can be judgmental too but I feel like everyone is in some way.

K.C. reacted to Red Robert in Thoughts & PrayersIf the AI was still just a lifeless machine with no consciousness or will of its own then sure, the creator would be responsible for it. But the buck actually stops at the AI if the AI will a will of its own goes out of its way to cause harm.
Ah, but no. Thats why theirs the doctrine of 'original sin' and humans concupiscence to things God never designed us to do. Because thats what free will is all about. We're not robots powerlessly following programs set into us before we're born. We have the power to choose our destiny if we're made aware of it, even if that requires us going against our concupiscence. Thats also why there's so much 'natural evil' in the universe despite it being made by a purely good God. Humans fall from Eden caused the entire cosmic order to become perverted, before they fell, things like cancer or wasps laying their larvae in other anthropods. Its actually all humans doing in theology, not Gods.
edit:
"before they fell, things like cancer or wasps laying their larvae in other anthropods DIDN'T happen"

K.C. reacted to Onision in What show are you watching atm?I listened to a book, in this book they said people are obsessed with serial killer shows because they secretly are attracted to the idea of being one - I disagree.
I think people watch those shows as people obsess over what could be a danger to them, or makes them uncomfortable. It is a product of our survival instinct. We all look at the car accident as we drive by not because we're horrible gawkers, but because we deep down, want to know how someone else got harmed, so we can avoid being harmed ourselves - for the sake of forwarding our own species.
A lot of cynics like to say "oh, you watch murder because you love murder and are a sicko" - not at all the case - people are just trying to really, learn from what threats are out there --- this is also why the most doom and gloom political campaigns are effective to making a politician known, or even win - people do everything they can to eliminate and prevent threats --- they are wrong often times, and even obsess over stupid things like, "gay marriage is somehow a threat to us!" --- but overall, it's almost always an obsession with something they perceive as a threat to them - something that is tangible - obsessing over cancer is seemingly non-productive because to many, "it just happens" --- but a school shooting? Then suddenly people are interested, because they need to know what threats are out there that could impact them, or their loved ones.
Whatever stupid crap we obsess over, a lot of times it has ties to things we are threatened by, and want to avoid.
HOWEVER, to be fair, some people obsess over things like gay marriage or transgenderism etc because they themselves are not actually really threatened by it - but are instead, it.
Like a closeted gay man who runs a anti-gay camp.
Or a dude who spends his life trying to track down monsters because he himself is a monster and he's just trying to cope with that reality.

K.C. reacted to Onision in Do you think President ***** should be jailed for destruction of part of the White House?...he, as I understand, destroyed a part of it to replace it with another thing.
There are about a thousand things to be mad at POTUS for, but this destroy/renovate thing isn't even the top 100 for me.
If you look into treason, incitement of riots, assault etc - those are very important issues, and should not be ignored.
-
K.C. reacted to ParadiseLost in Do you think President ***** should be jailed for destruction of part of the White House? Was going to say the same thing, lol.
While this is a waste of taxpayers money, I think it's a stretch to say he should be arrested for it. He's done far worse things that is worthy of that though.
-
K.C. got a reaction from ParadiseLost in Do you think President ***** should be jailed for destruction of part of the White House?Yes. He should go to jail for a lot of things.

K.C. reacted to Sheila89 in Do you think President ***** should be jailed for destruction of part of the White House?I agree...

K.C. reacted to Onision in Donations (Appreciation)I’ve been blessed and surprised by birthday/christmas gifts from Skylar, UhOh, KC and Lorilei, thank you guys so much!
If I produce content in the future - I’ll probably use Oni.RED to justify the time/effort - being it’s own form of Patreon or something.

If someone's help can shorten suffering, I reach out - I feel like if someone could help, and I don't ask, my problems, to an extent, are even more so my fault. My loneliness for example, when I'm lonely and I don't reach out for comfort, well, I might have earned it.

K.C. got a reaction from Onision in How Is Your Life Different From 2 Years Ago?I can say that my life is better now than it was a year ago. Last year around this time I was struggling financially because the job I had wasn’t giving me enough days to work. I was basically working part time. This year I’ve been working a full time job so I’m doing way better financially. Last year was sad lol

K.C. got a reaction from mary in What show are you watching atm?I’ve been watching Monsters: The Ed Gein Story. Just finished the 3rd episode. It’s pretty good so far.

K.C. got a reaction from Rylent in What About Your Star Sign Can You NOT Control or Is MOST True?I can relate. It feels like such a burden asking for help and I rather handle things on my own, but sometimes you need the extra help once in a while.

K.C. got a reaction from Red Robert in Happy Halloween + my tripHappy Halloween! I went to Epic Universe at Universal Studios today and wanted to share a few pics 🙂
Hope y’all are having a fun Halloween too.
-
K.C. reacted to Onision in Happy Halloween + my tripI think with things like that it's important to shift your expectations - Sounds like you went there for the "fun", expecting "fun" stuff to do - when maybe it would be better to go, like you would to an art gallery - solely to see and analyze every element of their art/the aesthetic.

A much better show is the new IT series

K.C. reacted to Onision in Unforgivably StupidMy biggest beef was the smell they have - but some people use vape, which helps eliminate the smell.
I personally refuse to take drugs in general… I’ve chosen to just live in my misery instead of gambling with meds.

K.C. reacted to Onision in What show are you watching atm?The default thumbnail to the MONSTER show is him wearing a human face as a mask - I have a stomach and a gag reflex. So, no. It’s difficult to get past the thumbnail, especially when I already know he has a Mickey Mouse voice the whole time,
I initially started watching merely out of curiosity - now I feel like I already know enough,
