Ok... thought for today:

---- When you fail at something, don't just do it over and over again expecting something new - trial and error --- keep changing, evolving etc.

I’ve noticed that a lot of hateful people online never have a profile picture of themselves or if their identity is revealed, they are unattractive lol. They’re miserable people. Also I was hoping you would mention the whole Jim Carrey clone thing. He’s getting old and had some work done. It’s not some big conspiracy that people want it to be.
Anyway, that was a good podcast. I’m sure it helped you get out some frustration.

Going to a comedy show alone isn’t weird. Sitting at home because three relatives guilt-tripped you into believing you need a babysitter to laugh — that’s weird.
Comedy is not prom night. Nobody’s checking the door like, “Sorry, where’s your date? Please explain yourself.”
Half the room is secretly there alone anyway. They just pretend they’re “waiting for someone” while scrolling their phone like CIA agents on surveillance.
You like the comedian. You got the ticket. You’re not dragging anyone who doesn’t want to be there. That’s called being a functioning adult, not a crisis intervention.
And honestly, if your family thinks going to a show solo means your mental health is collapsing, tell them people go to the gym alone, eat alone, shop alone, and somehow the universe doesn’t implode.
Go. Laugh. Enjoy it. The only truly embarrassing thing would be skipping something you were excited about because everyone else decided to be weird about it.

I feel like a shell of a person all I do is help people, care for little ones, and clean. Like every single day all day long. And I just want a break. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know who I am anymore. If there is no joy then what’s the point. If I’m not enjoying this why do I do it, I understand I have to but something needs to change. The one is there bc I do like the Christmas vibe and I’m seeing Silverstein in a few days.

Spend it with the family and everyone kinda plays with what the got, it’s usually very relaxing. Also we usually do a nicer dinner! We also go to the zoo during new years week I don’t know why lol. But we like it.

I got my favorite pairs of black jeans from Wal Mart --- lik $25 each --- at the mall they'd each be $50-70

I can be overly logical and focus too hard on problem solving rather than addressing emotional reality. To me, if you have a problem or are upset, then let's work out how to fix it. But some people want to focus on the emotion without jumping to a solution automatically. Which I appreciate, and am trying to be better at being more empathetic in that sense.
