If any of you have seen Smile 2, what are your thoughts on it? It’s one of my favorite horror movies right now and since @Onision mentioned to me about starting this topic, I figured I would :)

I love both the Smile movies but the 2nd one felt more crazy and it was definitely creepy too. I thought it was really good and the way it ended was insane haha

I think I preferred the first one but I definitely loved both as well. My partner wasn't a huge fan of the second one but I feel like despite it being a bit cheesier (for lack of a better word coming to mind), it was done super well. It bothered me that the trailer kind of gave away the entire ending in my opinion, not to give any spoilers away if someone hasn't seen it.. just kind of apparent in the trailer. In general though, the unsettling smile is one of the coolest horror moments in recent movies mixed with the way the entity is gaslighting you the entire film and you don't know what is actually happening. Already happens in my nightmares regularly so seeing it in a movie was crazy. I've heard about a 3rd one coming out and i'm excited to see how crazy that one will get if it is! I think smile might go down for better or worse as one of the most iconic "modern" scary movies. Caitlin Stasey Creepy Smile GIF by Smile Movie

Yeah I love that someone came up with this movie idea. I usually don’t feel scared after watching horror movies but I remember after seeing the first one, I was a little freaked out lol. I’m looking forward to the next one!

I actually called the ending right out the gate... as soon as I found out the main character was a pop star I was like "Wouldn't it be crazy if..." and then it ended the way I said. Pretty dope.

I wasn’t expecting the ending. It never crossed my mind. Good on you for calling it lol

The smile thing is spread by people witnessing the horrible acts resulting from the smile thing... so, a pop star, huge audience? That equates to mass spread of the horrors.

Yeah I love the way they did that for the ending. It just didn’t click in my brain at first lol

Pretty sure Angelina is special, and should be ignored.

Hmm could be but idk. I think she just can’t speak English very well. I have been ignoring the other comments though. Also what does “charity” mean beside her name?

It means I gave them free access because they wanted to talk to me, but I didn't want to keep replying via email.

She probably doesn't know how to write what she wants in English

There's this magical new technology called "the internet" which allows for you to say anything you like in any language.

For example:

በማንኛውም ቋንቋ የሚወዱትን ነገር እንዲናገሩ የሚያስችልዎ ይህ "ኢንተርኔት" የሚባል አስማታዊ አዲስ ቴክኖሎጂ አለ።

Conclusion: The user is fucking with you.
