I wanted to talk about it... specifically how horrifically toxic social media has gotten.

This kind of forum is what I missed most about the internet I grew up on. I missed the real connections and friends I made on them that just don't seem to form as deeply on open social media. I'm thrilled to find spaces like this still out here.

I saw someone say that comments are now being overtaken by bots online - so authentic human experiences are getting even more rare - that's why I like the barriers this site has.

I'm not fully bought into the dead internet theory thing as our current state, but I think there's a LOT more bot activity than most realize beyond the surface-level interactions of online spaces

I know you get a lot of hate on YouTube, and I honestly commend you for still standing strong. I don’t think I could handle that kind of constant bullying. This forum you created is a great space for genuine conversation with people who actually want to connect, not tear you down. I think having this system in place is really good for your mental health. You deserve to be around people who aren’t hateful, judgmental, or trying to dim your light.
