Definitely regret. Circumstances affect situations, and if you did or didn't do something, there was probably a good reason for it at the time. I'm a big believer in things work out the way they're meant to in the end, and the journey is important to how you get there. Life is too short to live with regret.

A serial killer would definitely agree with you.

Y'all had a wonderful opportunity to create world peace but you chose random stuff instead... did not expect that.

Anger. It can be used constructively when critical thinking is applied, but by-and-large, most people are reactive and it isn’t applied usefully to many situations.

Correct

Correct.

Someone in my life said "Apathy" as well, which is great.

I would honestly remove guilt. Guilt eats away at someone even if small or big deal .

Wouldn't want anyone to feel accountable for the horrible things they do... wait what???

Embarrassment. Easily.

You had hatred, anger, pride, greed... and you chose... embarrassment.

What happened to you that made you choose that?

I'd say "Pride" might be the worst, many people who have pride, also think they are so superior to others that they have a right to take actions against them. Without pride, not sure if war would exist.

Bro, hardly a right answer here, just trying to pick one that hasn't been chosen 😂

Why on earth would you want to live your life with regret? Own your decisions and make better ones moving forward if your previous ones weren't the best. You can only live and learn.

I chose embarrassment because it's the only one that I feel holds ME back.

I may not say something I want/need to say something I feel needs to be said because of fear of how others may react to it, for example.

There've been times when I've decided to just stay home when I really wanted to hang out with someone but wasn't confident enough at the time (school age).

One of the main reasons I'm so antisocial stems from the embarrassment of people making fun of me when I was a ***** and teenager because I was "weird". I am a lot more confident now, but that's mainly because I isolate myself a lot. It has shaped the way I interact with people even today. I've had to force myself not to give a **** what others think, and it still leads me to choose to be alone vs around a lot of people today. If I could remove that altogether from my entire life, I would more than likely have been much more confident when I was younger, and as a result, now, leading to a life I would feel more in control of.

Regret means if you could do it again, you would do it different. I don’t want to know the person who has hurt someone but would not avoid hurting them if given a second chance.

If that is you, might be emotionally defective in a dangerous way.

So… instead of creating world peace, you would just improve your social skills.

Anger causes so much pain and dumb discissions

Thinking world peace could/would be the result of the removal of any one emotion is interesting, to say the least. Not sure it's possible.

So yeah, before I started trying to change others... and then the world, I would like to improve my social skills.

Might have a chance of getting some of those other people who make up the world to actually listen to any decent advice I MIGHT have for them if they didn't think I was so 'weird'. 🥴

It looks like this got a little contentious so I'm a little hesitant to wade in now after the fact, but...

I think I would zoom in a little more on "anger" and specify rage. I think that anger can have a lot of forms that are beneficial: the sense of injustice or unrest are types of anger in my opinion. Rage is anger manifesting as urges of violence/recklessness/harm.

Alternatively, I would remove hopelessness. Hopelessness is what makes people lay down and accept the destructive tendencies of others. I think there's no one way to remove all negativity from the world, but one to help the world keep it in check.

Super solid argument, definitely agree.
