For some time I've been fighting who I am... thinking I can be anything but what I naturally revert to...

I keep trying other things, but wind up where I started...

So, time to confess... I'm a nerd... a computer nerd. All I ever seem to want to do is use computers... I don't like interacting with people much in the real world... I'm an introvert out there...

I relate more with machines than I do strangers... I like playing video games, often being left alone... I'm passionately in love with my spouse - and some of the only people who are truly on my mind 24/7 is my immediate family.

I am not a people person, I am not religious and I don't have an engineering mind...

I'm just technical, factual, literal, creative, emotional & honest... all while avoiding society in general. The world is weird, and scares me.

That's who I am.

Anyway, who are you? What do you naturally gravitate to?

I’ve always been a shy person and a bit anti-social so I don’t have many friends. I have a best friend and I’m close with my sister who is also like a best friend, but I don’t really socialize with anyone outside of them and my family. When I try to talk to people, I feel like I’m being awkward so I just don’t try to socialize much.

I spend most of my time on my phone or watching YouTube. When I watch tv, I usually watch the same movies or shows over and over. I also love horror and Disney movies.

My dream home would be somewhere surrounded by nature and no people. I feel the most content/peaceful in nature and when it’s raining or storming.

I know how to talk to people, but I also enjoy keeping friendships online. I can be the loudest person in the room but also the quietest. I am deeply emotional and compassionate. If you were to ask a group of people who know me, they would say that I am passionate in anything and everything. I also dump all of myself into everything. I love and hate people. I love people who are as passionate and full of love as I am. I take relationships and friendships very seriously.

Meh, I'm not saying dorks feel like they're at war with the world sometimes. Thats more just my flawed way of approaching issues, or supposed lack thereof, with my identity.

This is something I've been thinking about a lot recently. People tend to either think I'm brilliant or an imbecile - no in between - and for the same reasons. I find it hard to think in straight lines, I will always choose hope (and being disappointed) over dread and I am shameless about what I enjoy. I will run around the meadow laughing with my dog and talk to crows as I feed them and talk to homeless people and experience joy in the face of judgement. I will enjoy a catchy song even if my more musically inclined friends tell me it's slop.

I love anime since that has never changed.

Also love horror movies

The classic ones

Like the first omen, nightmare on elm street, halloween.

I generally hate the typical horror movies where ppl go through hardships then win at the end

I like it where there are plot twists or the killer wins

Also i believe horror movies that are international alot of them are amazing and scarier.
