Forums are a concept from the 90's... you know... MySpace, LiveJournal, VampireFreaks --- those ideas... didn't really hold up over time.

As far as I know...

I was thinking about what the future of this forum might be... my conclusion?

Even if people were to stop posting to this site all together (ChatGPT for example is making people far less curious about seeing much online other than that, and maybe TikTok) --- I still want to focus on creating things for myself...

Being human, for many... means wanting the approval of others... but if everyone is gone... what do you do?

Well... you're a human too... you should do things just to satisfy your own interests/creativity etc - even if no one gives a ****.

You know those people who write books but never publish them? Wild right...

But the real question is, are they on to something?

Anyway, ultimately what I'm saying is - in the past I would abandon forums once they died, but... this time around - I think I'll keep it going for as long as it's funded... because why the **** not?

That and, this site is capable of much more than just being a forum --- you may see what I mean in time.

This forum, like many forums, has a severe lack of activity... but I'm stuck in a place where I'm not sure how important that is to me - if I like posting to forums - maybe I should stop being an admin, and just join forums that never die... but... I'm not sure if those even exist.

I will say, I ****ing hate Twitter.

Twitter absolutely sucks. Even though this forum isn’t super active I do enjoy it. I feels safe here

Well yeah, you have to log in just to post, and even then, people get filtered so it's like... haha, assholes lose... mind you, that means far fewer people --- like society before we began overpopulating, but even less folks.

Update: Turns out there was a massive error preventing people from signing up to this site... weird huh? My bad I guess.
