Just what I'm going through... Curious if anyone else has gone through this too and if this means I should try to work it out or just try getting over it...

What you should and should not be upset about is subjective.

Good point. Just unsure whether or not it was wrong to put someone else through pain when ur unsure about the decision. Like you still love them but ultimately know that they're not right for you... Would you try work it out and potentially go through more pain or try to move on and put yourself and that person in pain.

Yeah that's probably normal.

Depends. You really need to look inside yourself to figure that out - other people often just give distorted info based on their own ignorance. You know the most about the situation.

Well two things can be true, you can be upset that you had to break up with someone while also knowing you're the one who caused the breakup.

I think if you know they're not right for you, choosing to stay together is choosing more suffering for both of you, long-term. Rip the band aid off now.

Having said that, it's your situation. Only you can decide.

I second that it's totally normal to feel sad. I've ended friendships because the person treated me terribly, and been devastated. You're losing someone you love, still, even if it's your choice and better all around.
