I like Walmart. My town doesn’t have a Target so Walmart is where I usually go.

No Target here and besides it's more expensive. Nearest Walmart is in Yucca valley CA so I order online.

Woolworths was legendary in the UK. Huge retail chain back in the day, it was the "everything" shop, but their pick and mix was my go to 😂

Closed in 2009, still miss it from our high streets!

I went to the Woolworths in the Bronx New York. It used to be a 5 and Dime type of department store.

So the whole anti-DEI thing really put them out of business or?

I used to loveeeee Target, but like due to the economic climate I quite literally cannot shop there. It’s like you can’t leave there without spending 100 bucks. It’s too expensive. That’s just my experience, I wonder if other people are feeling the same.

Do you have Grocery Outlet? They're cheap, but their food is often almost expired...

There's also (for clothes) Ross, Marshall's, TJ Max and Wal-Mart... all cheap clothes that are decent sometimes.

How I save money is Costco, Trader Joe’s, and what I can’t get at those places I get at Walmart. Costco has like amazing sales on bulk food often, like for instance when I went yesterday all their Asian food was on sale because they are getting ready for winter. I got like a box of 50 spring rolls for 5 bucks and that so easy to add to Asian dishes. And I like bought soooo much other Asian foods because we love that around here. Then for clothes for the little ones I shop GAP sales but a size up so they are oversized now but for later. I love gap bc they are so high quality. I also shop gender neutral for pants and overalls so they can go through all the **** and I sell them once they’ve grown out. But yea the world is just so expensive rn, it sucks :/

Definitely Walmart. Target has better clothing, though. When I look at the clothes in Walmart, I kinda feel like I’m back in the ‘80’s.

Wal-mart actually has some decent brands... levi's... rebok... and more.
