I hit about 172lbs today - reminder, we started at 193lbs...

I stop eating every day at 5pm.

I don't know why the **** this isn't advertised all over the world as the best **** ever, but it's easy as **** for me, and I got the results I want.

Probably pulling the plug at 167 because I don't want to ever look anything like... you know who.

I always failed diets before because they were not simple, and I had to constantly sacrifice for them — with this - I just have one rule, no eating after 5pm, till you wake up tomorrow —- and there you go, now down to 171.2 lbs

Update: I went to 6pm cutoff for food and it resulted in going from 170 ~ to 177.

So... back to 5pm cutoff.

No matter what,if i eat after 6 or 7pm i feel uncomfortable.Maybe cucumbers and raw almonds, walnuts but nothing more.I feelvlike our bodies are adapted and programmed to slow down as soon as sun starts to go down...Weird.

You may nap,or have a nightime job,its still the same.

How often do you guys weigh yourselves when you're trying to lose weight?

Recently learnt a close friend of mine is practicing fasting as well. He's trying to do the maximum amount of 3 day fasts which I personally find worrying unless you're living as an ascetic in a monastic community.

Personally every 2-3 days. I hear some people don’t find that healthy. I think it’s motivating to see even a few oz off. But others find that to be triggering. My advice is only weigh yourself in the morning after using the restroom. You can go naked or not it doesn’t matter too much. But start to weigh yourself every week and see if that works for you. Remind yourself that weight does fluctuates so even if you drank water before weighing yourself, if you drank a water bottle that’s 16 oz which is a pound that shows on the scale. Or if you had a big dinner even if it’s in your calorie limit. All of that is a difference on the scale you have to wait for it to digest. One time I drank 32 oz of water before a Dr appointment and for some reason idk if it’s because I ate a big dinner or what but I was 12 pounds heavier on the scale and I cried and cried and cried but when I went the next time it said I lost 30 pounds from my last visit. Little things do make a difference on the scale unfortunately, and that can be confusing to a person who is new to losing weight. Yourbest bet is to weight every week. Sorry for the long answer lol
