Do you think President ***** should be jailed for destruction of part of the White House?

Posted

The White House is a historical building main part is over 200 years old.

East and West Wings were added later.

Knowing that, do you believe the president should go to jail for destruction of a Historical building??

My opinion is yes..he should.

He doesn't own the White House. It's only a temporary residence.

Was going to say the same thing, lol.

While this is a waste of taxpayers money, I think it's a stretch to say he should be arrested for it. He's done far worse things that is worthy of that though.

...he, as I understand, destroyed a part of it to replace it with another thing.

There are about a thousand things to be mad at POTUS for, but this destroy/renovate thing isn't even the top 100 for me.

If you look into treason, incitement of riots, assault etc - those are very important issues, and should not be ignored.

Then the Supreme Court cleared him. Sooo, nothing matters now, folks! This seems to be the new normal which sets a precedent for future Presidents who may be even worse than him.

It's an irritating feeling... not knowing what society considers still valid as "right" --- when we have a leader who has broken so many laws, and no one holds him accountable, we're all sitting here going "then what is society?"

He's supposedly suing the BBC (our main news outlet in the UK) for $1 billion... all over a speech being edited unfavourably against him.

At what point do we stop showing this moron respect that he hasn't earned and just call him out on his idiocy?

The weird thing is - him winning cases like these --- imagine the doors it would open for anyone to sue anyone who publicly says anything about anyone else......... like... over a context edit? If the bar is that low - no one with a negative public presentation about anyone else is off limits.

Freedom of the press would get... WEIRD
