I made the following adjustments today:

1. The forum had hundreds of bot accounts, probably from Russia considering there were a lot of .ru accounts. I deleted them.

2. In order to delete them, I found all members with more than 10 posts, promoted them to "Immortals" for free, and deleted all remaining people in the "Member" category. This means many members who posted before, but not more than 10 times, were also deleted. (no paid member was deleted as all memberships exist for the "lifetime" of the site they paid through - meaning so long as the site is alive, you should have access to posting/your original entitlements unless you significantly violate the board rules, such as ones akin to "no inappropriate content" or "no spam".)

3. The forum member count was originally in the thousands, but I got rid of those weeks ago, then I moved on to delete the remaining 6 or so hundred - leaving us at 53 members. I then sent out a bulk email to those 53 members to inform them somewhat of this change.

4. The ideal future of this forum is to change the domain name to a totally new brand, maybe "oni.red" or whatever - the forum may experience temporary collapse during this process, some or all data may be lost, but it is much easier to recover conisdering we have no elimited all the nonsense data plaguing this forum.

5. I enabled anti-bot techniques to prevent future misused of the registration system.

6. Some time ago, I also prevented any non-paid members from posting due to posting misuse (bots posting links in Russian and other languages, people "trolling" etc). I got an email form a concerned user who assumed they were banned, and they were the first I promoted to Immortals for free as a result of this inconvenience to them.

7. The future of the forum is to remain in tact, and functional, but to expand as a more deliberate outlet to post content I create, and generally be more helpful to a wider audience. I have taken personal measures to increase my own self-awareness, communication tact & fundamental understanding of what it means to be an administrator/leader of a website.

I did notice that a few accounts on my profile visitors list were gone and was wondering about that.
