I thought the ending was really good and I cried a little lol. Unfortunately some of it was already spoiled for me so I knew what was coming. I love that show overall and can’t believe it’s over.

    I haven't seen it! I've heard good things, and a couple people have recommended it to me, but I was waiting it out til the end in case it got game of thrones'd.

    Now that it's over, would people recommend it as a whole?

    That's how you're supposed to take it - but the master story writers/directors aka. know-it-alls online seem to think it was awful.

    For some reason I just couldn't really get interested in the first season to begin with.

    I thought the ending was fine. There's seldom a perfect way to end an iconic show. Personally, I found the finally boss battle scene anticlimactic and rushed, and I find it utterly implausible that only 1 main character died in such a dangerous situation. But I did like the 18 months later how is everyone doing wrap up, definitely shed a few tears there.
