What are you? Democrat? Republican? Independent? Why?

I prefer to identify as nothing - as the system is not agreeable overall --- but if I had to throw my hat in the ring, it would be on the side of women deciding what to do with their own bodies - and on the side that favors the needs of the many over the needs of the few.

I’m neither so I identify as nothing as well. One time I thought I identified with being Independent, but I read more of what that meant and realized that’s not what I am either. So basically I don’t identify as anything. There are things I agree and disagree with on both sides.

I've always voted Democrat,my family were Democrat. Everyone in my family voted for JFK..

I haven't voted for a long time..

Well right now I'm kinda on the side of those who helped topple Maduro even if they just installed one of his minions in his place instead of holding fresh elections...

Which sorta crosses out the dems for me.

Come from a right wing family, consider myself a centralist. I vote based on the best candidate and political values at the time so wouldn't say I align with one or the other necessarily.

Seems like the last decade has been a vote for the lesser of the two evils situation with a pretty clear "bad" option in my eyes. If I lived in the US it would be a "anything but Trump" situation obviously lol. In the UK our last Conservative PM was a transphobic elitist moron so I voted tactically to get him out (which worked thankfully). We have another right wing moron, Nigel Farage who is running a far right party that has gotten way too much traction for comfort the last few years, so will be an anything but him situation again when the time comes.

Might have to put that into action sooner rather than later, they're flirting with the idea of an earlier general election. Doubt it will go ahead though.

I just can't feel much sympathy to those dems decrying the venezuelans being happy maduro is gone because of who got rid of him and how.

Independent, probably pessimistically so. I don't think anyone of them, right or left, give shit about anyone or anything besides whats in their pockets. The only place I think votes really matter are maybe in small town/school board elections, because those people have to live and deal with the community they impact. But I'm also a conspiracy theorist and think most elections are set up anyway.

My family has always been Democrat..I vote for the person,not the political party. I see good and evil in all political parties. And with that being said.l can say I don't like Trump,Pence or the whole administration. I just deal with it.

Not being from the US, the whole thing looks to me like a hideous circus. I don't think I could support either party, but I'd vote for the one that seems to have a glimmer of humanity, I guess.

Our own system is also fucked though
