For those of you who can have fun (I understand those who cannot) - what do you do?

Play video games? Make art? Read books?

Please share what you do, and details that help us understand how you spend your time when you are treating yourself or trying to experience PEAK calm.

I realize that "fun" is a dead concept for many - so if that's you, just think instead "What do you do that has the lowest stress level" (your safe place/activity)

Going to the movies, bowling, amusement parks, and sometimes my sister, best friend, and I go to historic sites/museums. When I’m home, all I do is get on my phone and watch YouTube or TV. I wouldn’t say that’s fun lol. It’s just how I relax. I like going out to do fun things.

Watching YouTube videos, using coloring apps, spending time with my son and granddaughter .. taking walks, riding horses ( when I can find a decent priced riding stable)

You both sound so functional and mentally healthy wow

I like running through the park with my dog chasing me, cackling like a maniac. That calms me down -- when I'm finished running, at least

I sing a lot, write poems and songs, play my guitar, read, stand in the shower and dissociate.

Video games, movies, whatever I'm obsessed with for that 2 weeks. Right now its redbull's stuff, the soap box car races hilarious.

Although some of you said outdoor stuff which is often dangerous but oddly also healthy...

Walking my dog, which I have to do each day, but I make an effort to do a different route each day, even though I know my dog doesn't really give a shit, I like to think he appreciates the variety lol.

I like hanging out with friends, going to events, live comedy, concerts, sports games.

I always have a TV show and a book on the go. And I've started listening to these spicy audiobooks on an app called Quinn, which is something a bit different that I'm enjoying!!

It says a lot that you thought of the first thing first/at all. It's so easy to take for granted simple affection and comfort with people you love. I admire that you don't
