The idea is as simple as the title -- I plan to write a haiku a day here. Feel free to join in.

There's only one rule for those who wish to take part, and that is that you must take long, soul-cleansing sips of herbal tea for each haiku you post to this thread. Don't think that there will be no consequences for breaking this rule. And don't think that I won't know, because I will know.

Here goes the first one...

The fresh grass quivers
under the chilling night's wind.
It misses the sun.

sips tea

Ok... ok...

This morning is calm
I feel this might be ok
But yes, we shall see

I drink my drink and think

oh were we to meet

oh where we go

I am laying down

Water again surrounds me

Can I take the heat?

My bache aches daily
The pain is so familiar
More pain tomorrow

Here I am again,
Itchy skin among chill vibe
Oh no I messed up
