The idea is as simple as the title -- I plan to write a haiku a day here. Feel free to join in.

There's only one rule for those who wish to take part, and that is that you must take long, soul-cleansing sips of herbal tea for each haiku you post to this thread. Don't think that there will be no consequences for breaking this rule. And don't think that I won't know, because I will know.

Here goes the first one...

The fresh grass quivers
under the chilling night's wind.
It misses the sun.

Watching anime.
This sad world is in chaos.
Oh well, watching on.

Night walking; rose plucked

My warm breath stirs each petal

Maybe I'll bloom too

Pain. Let it make me careful

Why don't they haiku?

Creativity hides.

Life, simply holding a place.
One exchange, two states.

We are not alone.
