I think it’s ok for them to joke about other celebrities so long as it’s all in good fun and they don’t joke about serious topics that could be hurtful to the person.

I don't think you are wrong , I can't correct you,. I can only stated my opinion. Not everyone will agree.

I think we should all go through training on the perspective of the comedian, the audience, and the person who the joke is at the expense of.

If you think the jokes are all fine, but only when they're directed at others, you miss the point entirely.

The key thing is: The joke has to actually be a joke --- as in, you don't mean it.
A joke is something that is purely said for laughs, entertainment or general mockery --- a joke is not saying something that is true, that you mean.
Like if I said "X person eats ass"

It is a joke if I don't actually mean they eat literal ass.
But please, correct me where I am wrong, or off.
