I did a first aid course today. Day 1 out of 3. It was really boring. I felt so useless because I hadn't walked as much being sat down. So walked to the local shopping centre and treated myself to a few bits. Then walked home. It was pretty uneventful and I dont like days to be like that.

Dream job is to be able to focus on writing full time. I have got two self published poetry books and teach creative writing but it's not enough to pay the bills yet.

I'm reading/listening to World War Z. The movie pales in comparison. I had no inclination to read the book as I wasn't a huge fan of the film. The book is an anthology/ documentary of the 'zombie wars'. Includes interesting takes on the military, world politics, and zombies.

Did you have a nice Father's Day?
I had a very dad orientated weekend. Went and visited my dad on Saturday. He's out of hospital and doing well. He was very emotional, I think the prospect of almost dying is finally hitting him.
Then spent Sunday with my partner's dad who came up and visited us. So a rare but very enjoyable parent-focused weekend.
